„ELSA“ stands for European Law Students Association and is the world’s largest group of law students with over 30 000 members spread all over Europe – as well as in Tübingen.
Our main targets are:
1. Initiating a broader (international) dialogue between law students in order to achieve a more unified Europe.
2. To see the bigger picture beyond the day-to-day life at university.
Therefore we organize different events, moot courts, and presentations; we visit courts and chambers and are thus able to provide an insight into the legal reality. Additionally we organize paid, international internships (for more information: STEP). ELSA furthermore has a “visitor status” at several institutions such as the European Council, the UNESCO, the ECOSOG, the UNCITRAL and the WIPO, which allows us to attend conferences as part of a delegation.
Are you interested? Visitors are always welcome! We meet every Monday, 8.00pm in Room 10, Alte Physik.
